'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo is out in theatres worldwide and has taken a stellar opening everywhere as the response from fans and critics has largely been positive. The film directed by blockbuster filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj features music composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, whose songs and background score are now the talk of the town along with the various other big highlights in the film. With fans finally getting their questions answered in regard to whether Leo is set in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), the 'Lokiverse 2.0' song has now been released as a surprise treat.
The 'Lokiverse 2.0' track is played in Leo and starts off with the vocals of Kamal Haasan from Vikram (2022). The song then transitions to the 'Badass' song in the Vijay-starrer, followed by the 'Dilli's Swag' track in Karthi's Kaithi (2019), and concludes with Suriya's dialogue introducing himself as Rolex from Vikram. The 'Lokiverse 2.0' song featured in Leo and its official release now has no doubt come as a huge surprise and massive treat for fans, who have been singing praises of Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Anirudh.
Among the big points that were debated leading up to Leo's release was whether it would be a part of the LCU and the answers have now finally been answered. The film is the second outing for the Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Anirudh trio, and also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Sandy master, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas, among others in key roles. With Leo out now in cinemas everywhere and fans continuing to debate about the film on social media, including the LCU, the wait is now on for the box office collections report, which can be expected to be announced soon.
