The mass action drama directed by blockbuster filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj and powered by music composed by Anirudh Ravichander has now also shattered box office records in the United Kingdom. On Friday, October 20, Leo's UK distributor revealed that the film has collected £462.4K (UK: £451.1K and Ireland: £11.3K), which also includes £16,232 from premieres, thus securing the top spot for the all-time best opening day gross for an Indian film.
This latest box office collections report for Leo has come as sweet news for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans everywhere after the film created a massive all-time record even before its release by going past the day 1 records previously set by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Pathaan released this year. The film's UK distributor too has in a statement on X further said that the Vijay-starrer will be creating new all-time record benchmarks in the days going forward declaring that they will not be beaten for some time.
