Lal Jose, after directing hit films in Malayalam which also brought him critical acclaim, is foraying into Tamil films through his next film named Mazhai Varapokuthu. His earlier films in Malayalam, including Meesha Madhavan, Arabikkatha, Oru Maravathoor Kanvu, Pattalam and Classmates, have been huge hits.
The screenplay of the new film will be by James Albert, who made Classmates and Johnny Antony’s Cycle. The story is based in a rural backdrop and Daniel Balaji is the hero. The script work of the film is progressing fast and shooting will start shortly.
