The highly-anticipated rom-com Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal starring 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu is only two days away from its grand worldwide theatrical release. Hitting screens on April 28, the upcoming film directed by Vignesh Shivan and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander is carrying tremendous buzz in the trade and on social media. Jointly produced by Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio in association with Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara's Rowdy Pictures banner, the team released a new KRK promo on Tuesday featuring the lead trio. 

In the new Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal promo, we see Vijay Sethupathi as Rambo (Ranjankudi Anbarasu Murugesa Boopathy Ohoondhiran) express his feelings to Nayanthara (Kanmani) and Samantha (Khatija) and reveals how much he loves each of them. The promo also gives us a glimpse at a few fun and emotional moments between the three. A triangular love story, KRK is riding high on the star cast and their chemistry is set to be the biggest USP to drive audiences to theatres. Earlier this week, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) censored Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal with a 'U/A' certificate, with the run time revealed to be at two hours and thirty-nine minutes. 

As with Vignesh Shivan's previous collaborations with Anirudh in Naanum Rowdydhaan and Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, the composer's work in the songs has added to the excitement surrounding Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. All the songs in the KRK album - 'Rendu Kaadhal', 'Two Two Two', 'Naan Pizhai', and the recently released 'Dippam Dappam' - have turned out to be chartbusters. It is to be noted that Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal is also the second time Vignesh Shivan has directed Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara after their Naanum Rowdydhaan in 2015, which turned out to be a massive box office success, while also being showered with critical acclaim.
