Komal Kumar: Comedian turns hero

Komal Kumar, who has so far played only comedy roles, is finally�appearing as hero�in an untitled film�which has completed 23 days of shooting. Produced by Jeevan and Anasuya under the banner of Sri Dattatreya Movies, it is directed by A.R. Babu; Nidhi Subbaiha is the heroine. Kiran of Haage Summane, Rahul of Nannusire, Giri Dinesh of Navagraha fame, Mukyamanthri Chandru, Sihi Kahi Chandru, Umashri, Maari Muthu and�Prameela Joshi are�the other cast members. Nethanya, who made a comeback through Buddhivantha, has an important role.

Shooting of this laugh riot will be in Malaysia and Bangalore. It was Komal’s dream to be a hero; he said�he has accepted the role despite the discouragement he�faced from many quarters. He�admitted that being hero puts lots of pressure and tension on him.
