The release date of Kirumi, an upcoming action thriller starring Kathir of Madhayanai Koottam fame and Reshmi Menon is nearing. Directed by newcomer Anucharan, the trailer of this suspense action thriller film was released recently and has made quite a good impression on the audience. The film became the talk of the town recently by becoming the first Tamil film to be screened at Canada's biggest event, the 19th Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival.

Written by the director of Kaaka Muttai fame Manikandan, the film deals with the life of an ordinary youngster and how certain incidents change the course of his life. Kirumi has music composed by K.
