Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra’s breakup made headlines earlier this year leaving their respective fans feeling down. The couple, who shared the screen in Shershaah, seem to have continued their romance beyond the big screen as it was later reported that the two actors decided to give their relationship another shot. Reacting to these rumors about her personal life, Kiara stated that she is not immune to rumors but there have been times when it has affected her personal life. During an interview, the actress said, "On the professional front, thankfully, I have never had an experience where something has been said that has affected me or my family, but on the personal front, when they add two and two, that’s when I am like, where is this coming from?" 

Kiara Advani also addressed the breakup rumors with Sidharth Malhotra. Though the duo never really given an insight into their relationship nor their alleged breakup, Kiara says she is nevertheless negatively affected by them. In order to extinguish the talks that have been going about, she finally said: 

“If it is frivolous, then even they [family] don’t appreciate it, naturally. What bothers me is that at the end of the day you are here for your work to speak, so you don’t want other aspects of your life to take the spotlight, but you cannot help it. I guess we have to develop that thick skin. You have to turn a blind eye, the more you react, there is no end to it Who is this source? I want to know who are these mirch masala wale sources?”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kiara has a number of projects in her kitty. She was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opposite Kartik Aaryan, which has been a massive success at the box office. She will soon feature in JugJugg Jeeyo alongside Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Prajakta Koli and Maniesh Paul. She also has Govinda Naam Mera with Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. Apart from this, she will be seen in a romantic saga with Kartik Aaryan, which will be directed by Sameer Vidwans. On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra has Yodha with Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. He also has Mission Majnu with Rashmika Mandanna and Indian Police Force with Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi.
