Blockbuster Kannada producer Vijay Kiragandur's Hombale Films banner announced on Thursday that the highly-anticipated trailer for K. G. F: Chapter 2 will be releasing on March 27 at 6:40 p.m. The KGF: Chapter 2 trailer announcement was made on the official social media handles of Hombale Films, with the team also unveiling a new special poster featuring Yash as Raja Krishnappa Bhairya aka. Rocky Bhai. The news of KGF: Chapter 2 trailer arriving on March 27 will no doubt come as a huge joy for fans, who have been waiting for new visuals from the period action film, especially after a short teaser was released on Yash's birthday last year. The teaser featured a few iconic shots and left fans wanting for more, with the new trailer expected to once again shatter several online records. The announcement of the KGF 2 trailer date has come after Karthik Gowda, executive producer of Hombale Films, recently informed fans to be aware of the fake news that was spread regarding the film.

KGF: Chapter 2 is carrying sky-high expectations unlike any other pan-Indian film in recent times as veteran Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the character Adheera and his showdown with Yash has been billed to be a major highlight. The sequel will also feature Srinidhi Shetty reprising her role as the female lead alongside Malavika Avinash, Anant Nag, Archana Jois, Vasishta N Simha, Avinash BS, Achyuth Kumar, Balakrishna returning to their original roles, while Prakash Raj, Raveena Tandon, and Saran Shakthi are the new big additions to the cast.
