Hombale Films, the makers of the current sensational blockbuster, KGF 2, have officially announced their next big venture and this is indeed a huge development. Hombale Films will be bankrolling Sudha Kongara's next directorial venture and the project was announced this morning (April 21) on social media. The announcement has garnered wide attention and has taken the fans and film buffs by surprise. The official statement from Hombale Films read, "Some true stories deserve to be told, and told right. We, at HOMBALE FILMS are proud to announce our next film with director SUDHA KONGARA. A story that we are certain will capture India's imagination like all our films have".

Sudha Kongara is one of the most promising and efficient filmmakers in the country and after the success of Irudhi Suttru and Soorarai Pottru, she has risen to greater heights. It is going to be interesting to see what she has in store for the audience with this newly announced film. Sudha Kongara is currently busy with the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru and she is expected to start working on the Hombale Films project once she completes the Soorarai Pottru remake. Suriya is most likely to be the hero of this newly announced film, marking his second successful association with Sudha Kongara after Soorarai Pottru.

GV Prakash Kumar will be scoring music for the film and the star composer had already shared exciting tidbits about the project in one of his earlier live interactions with fans. An official announcement on the hero, music director, and the rest of the cast and crew are awaited. Hombale Films is currently riding high on the phenomenal success of KGF: Chapter 2 which is marching towards the elite 1000 crore club. Baahubali 2, Dangal, and RRR are the only three Indian films that are a part of the 1000 crore club and KGF 2 is on its way to achieving the feat.

Hombale Films is currently producing Prabhas' highly-anticipated action biggie, Salaar, directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel.
