Kempegowda 2, the upcoming Kannada movie is directed by Shankar Gowda and the film has the comedian turned hero Komal Kumar as the lead actor and Rishika Sharma as the lead actress. Dattanna, Loose Mada Yogi, Madhusudhan Rao, Suchendra Prasad and popular cricketer Sreesanth have played important roles in the film. Kempegowda 2 is produced by A Vinodh under the banner Panchamukhi Hanuman Cine Production. The camera is handled by Rosh Mohan - Karthik and editing are done by Ravichandra. Music and BGM for Kempagowda 2 are done by Varun Unni.
Kempegowda 2 is the sequel to the 2011 blockbuster film of Kiccha Sudeep's Kempe Gowda which had the same technical team. Kiccha Sudeep is replaced by Komal Kumar. Notably, Kempegowda is the remake of the popular Tamil film Singam that had Suriya in the lead. The film is gearing up for a big release this Friday (August 9th).
