A popular producer in the Tamil film industry, S. Michael Rayappan has made notable films such as Nadodigal, Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, Eetti, Pattathu Yaanai, Miruthan and Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan.
With Michael Rayappan’s Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan not performing as expected at the box office, he then announced under his Global Infotainment banner his next film, Kee, with Jiiva in the lead role.
Directed by newcomer Kalees, Kee is a science-fiction psychological thriller and also stars Nikki Galrani and Anaika Soti as the female leads followed by RJ Balaji, Govind Padmasoorya, Suhasini, Manobala among others in vital roles with music by Vishal Chandrasekhar.
That said, the makers have now officially made a massive announcement stating Kee starring Jiiva will be hitting screens as a Tamil New Year release on April 12 and will be clashing with Prabhu Deva’s Devi 2 and G. V. Prakash Kumar’s Watchman.
Kee generated quite a lot of curiosity last year when the film’s teaser and trailer featuring stunning visuals were released and raised the expectations to a higher plane.
