We had earlier reported that the post production work of the film Kayal, directed by Prabu Solomon was going on at jet speed. The latest update is that the film is expected to hit the screens on Tsunami Day, December 26. Since, the storyline of Kayal is about the Tsunami and its effect on Chennai and other coastal regions, the makers are planning to release the film on the same day.
We hear that the climax portion of the film has extensive CG footage, which replicate the Tsunami. Kayal stars Anandhi and Chandran in the lead roles. Composer D. Imman has scored the music. An official announcement is expected to be out in a couple of weeks.
