Popular Malayalam actress Rebecca Santhosh, known among fans for starring in the hit serial Kasthooriman, got engaged to long-time boyfriend Sreejith Vijay. The couple, who have been in a relationship for nearly two years now, took one step closer to getting married, in a grand ceremony at Kochi, which saw many reputed Malayalam film and TV industry personalities grace the joyous occasion. Among those who had wished Rebecca and Sreejith were actors Kunchako Boban, Salim Kumar, Aditi Ravi, Dinesh Prabhakaran who were seen dancing, while her Kasthooriman co-stars Haritha G Nair and Krishna Priya too had a fun time.

Rebecca was seen in a red designer lehenga, while Sreejith wore a dashing white suit. The couple have always been outspoken about their relationship and have also indulged in PDA on social media on a number of occasions. Sometime back, Rebecca shared an adorable post wishing Sreejith on the special occasion of their fourth love anniversary. Both Rebecca and Sreejith are popular names in the Malayalam entertainment industry, with the latter having directed films like Kuttanadan Marpappa and Margamkali. Pictures of the couple at their engagement are doing the rounds on social media, including a photoshoot of Rebecca, which has trying her hand at fun poses.

Rebecca became a household name among Malayalam-speaking people after playing the titular character Kavya in Kasthooriman. The show's biggest highlight is the romantic chemistry between Rebecca and the lead star Sreeram Ramachandran, with the duo garnering many fans. Apart from Kasthooriman, Rebecca has also starred as the lead in the Malayalam film, Snehakkoodu, while first debuting as a child artist in Thiruvambadi Thamban, including making cameo appearances in Take off, Oru Cinemakkaran and a starring role in Minnaminungu. Rebecca has also starred in notable Malayalam shows namely Kunjikkoonan, Snehakkoodu, Mizhi Randilum, Neermathalam and is a part of Kasthooriman, which is still airing on Asianet after it began in 2017.
