Young filmmaker Karthick Naren shot to limelight with his debut venture, Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (D16) towards the end of 2016. The film went on to become a massive critical and commercial success, which left many in the industry as well as fans quite surprised.
Post the victory of the crime action thriller, Karthick Naren had begun work on his second film, Naragasooran. The film is a multi-starrer and includes stars namely Arvind Swami, Shriya Saran, Sundeep Kishan, Aathmika and Indrajith Sukumaran in the lead roles and is awaiting its release.
Karthick Naren had also announced his third directorial titled Naadaga Medai with the young director also inviting people to come on board as assistant directors while announcing auditions for actors to join the cast.
Meanwhile, it is now said that Karthick Naren will be returning to acting in the upcoming film titled Kannaadi, which stars Sundeep Kishan in the lead role under Thirudan Police fame Caarthick Raju’s direction. It must be noted he did a brief role in D16, which was monumental to the narrative in the film.
Karthick Naren will be seen in an extended cameo alongside Cuckoo fame Malavika Nair in Kannaadi, which is also being made in Telugu too.
