Popular Kannada actress Amulya and her husband R Jagadish have been blessed with twins on Tuesday. The couple has welcomed twin baby boys on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri. The big joyous news was announced by Jagadish on social media, who also informed fans and followers that Amulya and their babies are healthy and doing fine. Taking to his Instagram page, Amulya's husband R Jagadish posted a photo from their maternity photoshoot and wrote, "Blessed with twin babies , both the boys and mother doing absolutely fine , heartiest thanks for all the love , good wishes showered on us throughout this journey @nimmaamulya." Amulya and Jagadish, who tied the knot in 2017, are being showered with congratulatory messages and wishes for the new members of their family. The couple had hosted a baby shower ceremony a few months back, which saw several notable names from the Kannada film and television industry grace the star-studded event among whom included Upendra, Priyanka, Shilpa, Ganesh, Milana Nagaraj, Krishna, Malavika Avinash, Prem and Jyothi. Amulya posted several pictures from her baby shower along with the caption: "Love , love and love was the only vibe I felt ... #myfavoritefamily #myindustry."
Having entered the film industry as a child artiste, Amulya made her debut as a lead actress opposite Ganesh in the 2007 Kannada film Cheluvina Chittara, which turned out to be a successful outing at the box office. She later earned major appreciation from fans and critics alike for her performance in 2013 in Shravani Subramanya, which had her share screen space once again with Ganesh. Amulya's last major outing was in Mugulu Nage in a cameo role in 2017 after which she quit acting the same year.
