The wait has come to an end for leading Tamil actor Suriya's fans as the much-awaited Kanguva second look poster is now out and has gotten fans everywhere excited. The poster has revealed a new look of the National Award-winning actor, who is seen wearing a white blazer with his hand extended and gazing back at the viewer intensely, while he also sports a well-trimmed thick beard and hair colored in a blonde tone. The Kanguva second look also shows Suriya's previously revealed warrior appearance dating to many centuries back, with the poster revolving around themes of fire and ice, thus establishing his different personas as well as the various time periods the film's story will be set in.
Unveiling the Kanguva second look poster on his socials, Suriya extended his Pongal and Sankranti wishes to fans in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. There is massive excitement surrounding Kanguva directed by blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Siva as it has been announced to be releasing in the 3D format in more than 10 languages with the aim of making audiences around the world witness the big-screen magic being created in Tamil cinema.
The Kanguva second look poster has also revealed that the film will not open in cinemas as a summer 2024 release as initially announced during Diwali last year. Although the news of a postponement will come as a bit of a disappointment for Suriya's fans everywhere, the makers will be look to take complete advantage of the time and package the best output of the film for audiences sometime later this year. Featuring music composed by National Award winner Devi Sri Prasad, Kanguva has Suriya cast opposite Bollywood sensation Disha Patani, who is playing the female lead and will be making her Tamil cinema debut. Likewise, Hindi actor Bobby Deol will also be making his big entry in the Tamil film industry with the upcoming ambitious film and is once again expected to come out firing on all cylinders along the lines of his electrifying performance in Animal (2023), while Sathuranga Vettai and Karnan fame Natarajan 'Natty' Subramaniam and Yogi Babu are set to make appearances in key roles.
