The long wait has finally come to an end as the highly-anticipated Kanguva glimpse has now been released on the special occasion of National Award-winning Tamil actor-producer Suriya's birthday today (July 23). The first action-packed visuals from the upcoming pan-Indian biggie being directed by Siva of Viswasam and Annaatthe fame and produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green in association with Vamsi-Pramod's UV Creations banner, and featuring music by Devi Sri Prasad gives audiences a look into the mammoth scale the film is being made and is an out-and-out epic feast from start to finish.
The Kanguva glimpse starts off showing scenes of an ongoing raging war and a battlefield with hundreds of slain warriors. Amidst the bloody and ravaged landscape, we see one warrior making one last attempt to rise again before we are introduced to another warrior wearing the skull of a dead animal as his mask taking him down with his long spear, which includes engravings from the bygone era. The Kanguva glimpse then proceeds to show the masked man revealing himself to be none other than Suriya atop a cliff with countless soldiers below him cheering on with joy and fervor before firing arrows with fire into the sky. The teaser then shows Suriya come forward and say, "Nalamaa", as his way of wishing his ardent fans everywhere, with the visuals then ending with the film's 2024 release announcement.
Kanguva is set to come out in the 3D format in 10 languages and will see Suriya sharing screen space with Bollywood sensation Disha Patani, who is making her Tamil cinema debut, with the cast also featuring the likes of Yogi Babu and Natarajan 'Natty' Subramanian. Suriya's look in Kanguva, which up until now was a secret, is set to become a big rage among fans, with fan theories on what the film's story could be already being discussed widely on social media.
