There is already considerable buzz surrounding Kangana Ranaut's next with Madhavan considering the duo have been a fan-favorite on-screen pair after the success of the Tanu Weds Manu films directed by Aanand L. Rai. The film will also mark the second time the actress is joining hands with director A. L. Vijay after their Thalaivii (2021), which was based on the life of Tamil actress-politician J. Jayalalithaa.
