If reports are true, the release of Kamal Haasan's Thoongaavanam is likely to be advanced. Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on the Deepavali day. However, now the makers are planning to release the film on Nov 5 or 6.
This bilingual action thriller starring Kamal Haasan and Trisha in the lead roles, has Prakash Raj, Kishore, Sampath Raj, Asha Sharath, Madhu Shalini, and Yuhi Sethu in the supporting cast. Titled as Cheekati Rajyam in Telugu, the film is written by Kamal Haasan and directed by Rajesh M. Selva. With the lyrics of veteran lyricist Vairamuthu, the music is composed by Ghibran. The film which is an official remake of the French film 'Sleepless Night', is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International in association with Sri Gokulam Movies.
