'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Vikram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is gearing up for a massive worldwide theatrical release on June 3 as preparations are currently underway for the film's audio launch at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on May 15. Touted to be an action thriller, the film was bankrolled by the iconic actor and producer Mahendran's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) and also has 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi and Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles, with their casting creating a huge buzz since the announcement of the project.

With the makers leaving no stone unturned for the promotions, director Lokesh Kanagaraj released a special making video of Vikram on Twitter on Tuesday evening giving us a new glimpse of the film, while also informing social media users that it has been dedicated to the National Award-winning stunt choreographer duo Anbariv ahead of their birthday on May 11. In the new Vikram video, we get only a short glimpse of Kamal Haasan's back facing the camera, while Lokesh Kanagaraj, Anbariv, and cinematographer Girish Gangadharan among others are hard at work during various intense action sequences.

Vikram is expected to take one of the biggest openings this year in theatres and the film's trailer is expected to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18. Apart from the Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil trio, the film's star cast includes names like Kaithi fame Narain, Chemban Vinod, Kalidas Jayaram, and Gayathrie, while reports also state that Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 sensation Shivani Narayanan and popular television actresses Maheswari Chanakyan and Myna Nandhini have been cast in supporting roles. 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, who has been a part of several blockbusters over the past couple of years, is once again expected to deliver yet another chart-buster album with Kamal Haasan's Vikram.
