Music director Ghibran started his professional journey as a composer for films advertisements and television commercial jingles in different languages. Then director Sarkunam selected Ghibran to compose the soundtrack for Vaagai Sooda Vaa which won a lot of accolades. He impressed everyone with his very first musical album. The soundtracks were so fresh and were critically acclaimed. After Vaagai Sooda Vaa, Ghibran was then approached by several directors about other projects, but he decided to take a break to look for an urban based script. After 2 years, Ghibran signed to score music for Vatthikuchi, a film produced by AR Murugadoss. He then went on to work in films like Kutti Puli, Naiyaandi, Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah and Amara Kaaviyam.

His biggest breakthrough was when he teamed up with Kamal Haasan to score 4 films back to back – Vishwaroopam 2, Uttama Villain, Papanasam and Thoongavanam. Ghibran is now composing a song to create awareness during this corona lockdown. Ghibran has apparently roped in Kamal Haasan and Anirudh to lend their vocals for this Corona song which is almost ready. Ghibran is giving some final touches to this special song which will be out very soon. We wish the team all the very best.
