One of the most anticipated films coming out this year, Nerkonda Paarvai announced to hit screens on August 10 marks ‘Thala’ Ajith’s 59th film in his glorious career and is an official remake of the smash 2016 Bollywood hit, Pink, which had Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles.

Vinoth directorial produced under Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP banner, Nerkonda Paarvai features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and also stars Vidya Balan as the female lead followed by Shraddha Srinath, Rangaraj Pandey, Adhik Ravichandran, Arjun Chidambaram, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Aswin Rao, Sujith Shankar and others in vital supporting roles.
With the production on the film wrapped up only a few days back, it has now been revealed that yet another heroine has now come on board Nerkonda Paarvai. It is now officially confirmed that popular Bollywood star Kalki Koechlin will be making a special appearance in the upcoming courtroom drama in a rap number, which was picturized on her sometime last month.
Incidentally, Nerkonda Paarvai will also mark Kalki Koechlin’s debut in Tamil cinema despite having been born in Pondicherry to French parents. The actress is known to be one of the finest performers in the nation having won the National Film Award – Special Jury Award for Margarita with a Straw in 2015 and was last seen earlier this year in the smash hit Bollywood film, Gully Boy, alongside Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
