Jailer is the next big film of 'Superstar' Rajinikanth that is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, The makers of the film have been teasing the release of the first single from the film composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The production house bankrolling the anticipated film, Sun Pictures, has released an exciting new glimpse from the first single of the film. The fun filled promo video shows a funny interaction between Anirudh who is frustrated to see Nelson and the director who wants a first single. They duo also discuss that they should not do a promo video as some people are talking bad about it and that it has become cringe. When Anirudh asks what kind of mood the song should be in, the director says the song is for Tamannaah and so it should be in a 'mood'. As the director then exits the studio he gets the passport of Anirudh from his assistant saying for one and half months he must not do any concerts and sees the lyricist of the song Arunraja Kamaraj on the way out. A glimpse of the song titles Kaavaalaa is then revealed, which will surely be a sizzling number.

The glimpse video shows that the songs will release on 6th July and now, all eyes are set on the day. Anirudh is known for making electrifying song and all the first singles composed by him in movies directed by Nelson Dilipkumar have become massive hit tracks. From Kalyana Vayasu in Kolamavu Kokila, the first single Chellamma from Doctor has over 140 million views on YouTube and Arabic Kuthu from 'Thalapathy' Vijay’s Beast was a hit number that goes without saying. This first single from 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Jailer is expected to break the record of the previous three films. The director has also said the siing will have 70% Tamil and 30% Telugu.
Jailer is one of the anticipated films of this year that is to release on August 10. The film has star studded cast including Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Iconic Malayalam actor Mohanlal, Kannada superstar Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, Pushpa fame Tollywood actor Sunil with versatile actress Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Batia, Yogi Babu, Vinayakan, Rocky and Taramani fame Vasanth Ravi and others roped in apart from ‘Superstar' Rajinikanth.
