Jyotika had recently wrapped the shooting of Pon Magal Vandhal, directed by debutant JJ Fredrick. This film features an ensemble star cast including K Bhagyaraj, Radhakrishnan Parthiban, Prathap Pothen, Thiagarajan, Pandiarajan, and others. With no time, she has now moved on to her next, an untitled film, directed by Era Saravanan of Kathukutty fame.

This new film will also star Sasikumar as the other lead and this will be the first time Jyotika and Sasikumar will be seen together in a film. However, the duo will not be seen as a pair. Actors Samuthirakani, Soori, Kalaiyarasan, and Magalir Mattum fame Nivedhithaa Sathish are also part of the film's star cast. We had already reported about this project to our readers and it has now become official.

This new film was officially launched this morning (November 28) with a special pooja. Suriya's 2D Entertainment will produce the film which has music by D Imman, cinematography by Velraj, and editing by Ruben. The images from the pooja event has been doing the rounds on social media.
