Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr. popularly known as NTR Jr. is one of the leading actors in Telugu Cinema. He became popular across India after playing lead in RRR that got recognised globally. Jr. NTR shared screen space with another leading actor Ram Charan in the movie and was directed by SS Rajamouli. It was one of the top-grossing films in India of all time. The song Naatu Naatu from the film RRR composed by MM Keeravani also brought home the prestigious Oscars Award this year and other international awards, including the Golden Globes and The Hollywood Critics Association Awards.

The next project of Jr. NTR was announced in December as NTR 30 directed by Kortala Siva. The Puja and Opening ceremony of the film happened on March 23 as a grand affair. The film will be the Telugu debut of Bollywood actress Jhanvi Kapoor and has music composed by sensational composer Anirudh. An exciting update about the project has taken social media by storm. Kenny Bates who has worked on multiple Hollywood projects has joined the technicians of the Stunt Choreographer for the Pan-India project. The production house backing the film NTR Arts shared a picture of Kenny Bates with renowned production designer Sabu Cyril and well-known cinematographer R. Rathnavelu discussing with a miniature, with the caption “renowned Action Producer Kenny Bates joined the team of NTR30 & is choreographing major action sequences. Conceptualization in progress." Kenny Bates has worked in famous Hollywood films Mission Imppossible: Ghost Protocol, Transformers and so on and has been a part of Indian films 2.0 and Saaho.

The cinematographer of NTR30, R. Rathnavelu, also shared some making photos from the sets with 'Rockstar' Anirudh. The background of the photo shows a massive set of ship in development. It is speculated that the team is now working to shoot the teaser for NTR30 now and the filming of the project will begin later in April.
