Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's next big film after the phenomenal success of RRR, the tentatively titled NTR 30, had its muhurtam ceremony held on Thursday, March 23, in Hyderabad. The yet-to-be-titled film's launch and pooja ceremony saw several big names in Indian cinema grace the occasion, including blockbuster filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who clapped the first shot for the shooting. NTR 30 marks the second time Jr. NTR is collaborating with director Koratala Siva after their Janatha Garage (2016), which will also see the Telugu debut of Bollywood sensation Janhvi Kapoor. Being planned for an April 5, 2024 theatrical release, the film includes a highly-skilled technical team featuring the likes of cinematographer Rathnavelu, editor A. Sreekar Prasad, and art director Sabu Cyril to name a notable few.
Apart from Rajamouli, KGF films director Prashanth Neel too attended the NTR 30 launch as one of the special guests, with photos and videos from the ceremony taking social media by storm. In the video streamed live by the production banner NTR Arts, we see Jr. NTR welcoming Jahnvi, who wore a light green saree for the grand occasion. We also witness both Jr. NTR and Jahnvi on the stage as Rajamouli claps the first shot announcing the beginning of the shooting. Speaking about NTR 30, director Koratala Siva said, "The film is set in a forgotten coastal land of India. It’s a very emotional story about how we live in a world that has more monsters than humans."
Chart-topping composer Anirudh Ravichander is the music director of NTR 30 and he too had special words for the entire team in his speech. He said, "Good morning everyone. Thank you, Siva sir and thank you to my brother, Tarak, for making this happen. Siva sir and I met maybe a year ago and whenever we meet, it's a wonderful time that we have together. This vision of his, I'm so happy and proud to be a part of his vision, and I hope I'm able to help his vision come to life. It's a huge vision, which he has and we will give our best to make it happen. Thank you sir for having me as a part of this team of legends out here. I'm very excited. And, thanks to all the fans for the response to the motion poster that is out already. I think, finally, thanks to Siva sir and my brother Tarak."
