Actor Jiiva's upcoming film Gorilla is touted to be a heist comedy thriller film. The film is written and directed by Don Sandy of Mahabalipuram fame and it has Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey as the lady lead. Gorilla also has Yogi Babu, Radha Ravi, Sathish, Rajendran and Ramdoss in pivotal roles. Sam CS has composed the music for this film. Gorilla is touted to be the first Indian film to portray a real chimpanzee in an important role, helping in moving the screenplay forward.

The film's trailer which was released a week back had some funny moments.The songs of the film have also been released and the romantic number, Yaaradiyo is already a big hit among the youngsters. The makers of Gorilla have now released a new sneak peek from the film and it is a scene that introduces us to the character, Mr Kong, the Chimpanzee.

This animal is the Gang Leader, according to the promo. We see Mr Kong watching the iconic bank robbery scene from Batman: The Dark Knight on a TV. Apart from Gorilla, Jiiva also has Gypsy, directed by Raju Murugan, awaiting the release. While Gypsy is expected to impress the critics, Gorilla will be a commercially satisfying affair for the family audience and the youngsters.

Gorilla is scheduled to hit the screens tomorrow (July 12) after facing several financial hiccups. This film will release, alongside Yogi Babu's Gurkha and Vikranth's Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu 2. Here is the new sneak peek of Gorilla for you all:
