On August 3, a pooja ceremony was held for Jayam Ravi’s next project with director Rajesh because it officially went on floors. The film as of now has been tentatively titled JR30 since it will be Jayam Ravi’s 30th film of his career. It has now been confirmed that the production house Screen Scene Media Entertainment will be bankrolling the film. This is after they are done producing Agilan which also stars Jayam Ravi in the lead role.

The pictures have been going viral all over various social media platforms ever since the pictures were shared causing a widespread excitement from his massive fan base. 

JR30 will also star Priyanka Arul Mohan of Doctor and Don fame as the female lead with VTV Ganesh and N. Nataraja Subramani in prominent roles as well. Music sensation Harris Jayaraj has been reeled in to compose the yet-to-be-titled film’s music. 

On the work front, Jayam Ravi will next be seen in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvam as Arulmozhivarman who later became the great Chola Emperor Raja Raja Chola. He will be starring alongside some of the most celebrated actors of the film industry such as Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai and Trisha. He has also got the films Agilan and Iraivan under his belt, with the former awaiting release while the latter is currently in its filming stages.
