Collection King: Jayam Ravi's Comali nearing amazing milestone!

For quite some time now, Jayam Ravi has been a very bankable star and has been choosing and working in movies that are being well received by the audiences. His rise at the Box Office has been meteoric and his latest release Comali has also been doing great at the theatres. Having released on August 15th, the movie is still going strong, despite crossing 19 days. We now have a wonderful news about the movie's collections at the Box Office.

It has come to light that Comali has grossed Rs. 4.9 Crores in theatres across Chennai city limits, within 20 days itself. On the 19th day alone, this movie has grossed Rs. 20 Lakhs and is now all set to touch the Rs. 5 Crores collection mark and this milestone might happen before the end of today itself. Apart from the movie being good, another big reason for Comali doing well is that, it has not been challenged by any other top movie and with the most expected Saaho also bombing majorly, it has only added to Comali's success.

Directed by debutante Pradeep Ranganathan, Comali has been produced by Ishari K Ganesh's Vels Films International. Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead in this movie, while Yogi Babu, Samyuktha Hegde, KS Ravikumar, Aadukalam Naren, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Ponnambalam and a whole host of other stars form the rest of the cast. Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi has scored the music while Richard M Nathan has handled the camera and Pradeep E Ragav has taken care of the editing.
