Jayam Ravi’s Bhoomi is gearing up for its theatrical release which is scheduled to happen on May 1, alongside Vishal’s Chakra and other biggies. Directed by Lakshman of Romeo Juliet and Bogan fame, Bhoomi has music scored by D Imman and features Niddhi Agerwal as the female lead. Interestingly, Bhoomi will be Jayam Ravi’s 25th outing and the talented actor will be looking forward to maintaining his success ratio. The latest update is that the film’s audio rights have been snapped by Sony Music for a whopping price.

Sony Music had recently bagged biggies like Master, Soorarai Pottru, Cobra, Doctor, etc, and the latest to join the list is Bhoomi. The teaser of the film is scheduled to release on March 9, coming Monday and we can expect the teaser to release on Sony Music’s channel. Touted to be a film that will discuss the problems faced by farmers, Bhoomi is produced by Ravi’s mother-in-law Sujatha Vijayakumar under the banner of Home Movie Makers. Apart from Ravi and Nidhhi Agerwal, the film also stars Ronit Roy, Sathish, Radharavi, Saranya Ponvannan, Thambi Ramaiah, and others.
