It's official - the much-awaited Jawan second single will be released on August 14, 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan has announced. Sharing a glimpse of the song titled 'Chaleya' featuring the leading Hindi actor alongside 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara, we see the first visuals of the two big stars romancing to 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander's next musical composition from the upcoming mass action thriller directed by blockbuster Tamil director Atlee. In the promo of the 'Chaleya' song sung by Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao, we see Shah Rukh Khan wooing Nayanthara to the choreography of Farah Khan, in a grand set erected for the romantic sequence in Jawan.
'Chaleya' is the next big musical treat from Anirudh in Jawan after the foot-tapping 'Zinda Banda' song released a few days to a rousing response. The excitement for the song shot up after Shah Rukh Khan revealed during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on X earlier this week that it is his favorite track in the film. Posting the 'Chaleya' song promo on X, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, "The Love of Jawan. Romantic. Gentle Sweet. #Chaleya out on Monday! Anirudh you are magical. Farah as always love u. Scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on September 7, Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is one of the biggest films coming out this year and will be a launchpad for filmmaker Atlee, who delivered three back-to-back blockbusters with 'Thalapathy' Vijay - Theri (2016), Mersal (2017), and Bigil (2019). The film is also the big Bollywood debut of leading South Indian actress Nayanthara and hit composer Anirudh, while cinematographer GK Vishnu and editor Ruben too will be taking their first steps in Hindi cinema. Jawan also has Shah Rukh Khan locking horns with Vijay Sethupathi, who impressed in Mumbaikar (2023), with his performance garnering him praise, while Deepika Padukone will be seen in a special appearance, with Priyamani, Sunil Grover, and Sanya Malhotra cast in pivotal roles.
