The wait is over as the much-awaited Jawan second single 'Chaleya' is out and gives audiences the first glimpse of the big-screen romance between 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan and 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara. The song composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander and sung by Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao to the lyrics penned by Kumaar is a foot-tapping breezy romantic track right from the get-go and is an instantly likable tune. 'Chaleya' in Jawan features Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara romancing and shaking their feet to Anirudh's tune, which will no doubt climb to the top of the charts in quick time.
'Chaleya' has choreography by Farah Khan and is picturized on Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara alongside several junior artistes, with the two stars seen at ease in their dance. This latest Jawan track has come out after the stupendous response to the 'Zinda Banda' song, which featured SRK dancing alongside more than 1,000 female dancers, and is currently trending at the top of the charts. The Tamil version of 'Chaleya' in Jawan is titled 'Hayyoda' and has been sung by Anirudh and Priya Mali to the lyrics written by Vivek, while 'Chalona' in Telugu has vocals by Adithya Rk and Priya Mali and has lyrics by Chandrabose.
Scheduled to open in theatres worldwide on September 7, Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner and marks the launchpad in Hindi cinema for several big names from Tamil cinema like blockbuster director Atlee, Nayanthara, Anirudh, cinematographer GK Vishnu, and editor Ruben. The expectations for the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer have been massive and the buzz has shot up after the first action-packed visuals were unveiled in the Jawan Prevue, which also showed Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, with Deepika Padukone revealed to be making a special appearance.
