If you do not know who James Gunn is, he is the visionary mind behind superhero centric movies like The Guardians of the Galaxy (Volumes 1 and 2), The Suicide Squad and Super. He also went on to write and direct the new HBO Max show titled Peacemaker. The writer, director and producer who has dipped his foot in both the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as the DC Extended Universe is now engaged. The girl to be wed is no other than Peacemaker actress Jennifer Holland. The couple who have been together since 2015 and Gunn "announced" the news via both Instagram and Twitter by posting a photo of his longtime partner sipping from a mug while showing off a massive rock sparkling on her finger captioning it with just two emojis. The couple is not only romantically involved but has also worked together, with her playing Emilia Harcourt in the 2021 "superhero" film The Suicide Squad and reprising the same role in HBO Max's Peacemaker, starring alongside WWE Superstar John Cena who plays the titular role. Her other credits include the TV series Sun Records and American Horror Story.

Not long before Gunn shared the photo of Holland's new engagement ring, Holland also posted an image of the two of them together on her personal Instagram account. Posing in front of a rainbow, the photo is accompanied simply by the caption, "Happiness." She also retweeted his picture of her on her personal Twitter account. The couple looks like they are head over heels for one another and we can't help but 'ship them. They truly are an OTP (One True Pairing).

Gunn was previously married to The Office star Jenna Fischer who he split with in 2007 after six years of marriage. On the work front, he is currently directing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for Marvel Studios and the second season of Peacemaker which is officially on the way for HBO Max.
