Popular Tamil actor Jai's next film, Theera Kaadhal, is all set to open in cinemas on May 26 and will see him appearing alongside Aishwarya Rajesh and Malayalam actress Sshivada. Directed by Rohin Venkatesan of the 2017 smash hit action thriller, Adhe Kangal, the upcoming film has been produced by the prestigious Lyca Productions banner. With the buzz for Theera Kaadhal quite positive after the release of the film's trailer a few days back, the team interacted with media persons on Monday where Jai was once again the big highlight and kept the audience engaged with his fun speech.
During his speech at the Theera Kaadhal press meet, Jai went on to speak about his role and the experiences he gained during the course of filming alongside Aishwarya Rajesh, Sshivada, and director Rohin Venkatesan. The actor went on to shed light on the film's premise saying how the re-entry of a person with whom we were in a relationship many years ago could cause problems after getting settled in marriage. Complimenting Rohin for his work in Theera Kaadhal, Jai congratulated the filmmaker for making the film at a time when social media is a big part of our lives and thanked him for casting him in the lead role.
Speaking further about Rohin Venkatesan, Jai said, "He is a perfectionist and extremely knowledgeable. I recently read in the newspapers that he's going to make a film with Ajith Kumar next. I wish you all the best. I request you to please give me a villain chance in that film. During the shooting of the film (Theera Kaadhal), I kept asking him for a role in his next film. But, he would tell that he'll think about the next film only after completing what's there in his hands now. Nowadays, many directors commit to one more film while working on an ongoing project and there's nothing wrong with that. That's a talent in itself. But, Rohin was particular about completing this film (Theera Kaadhal) first perfectly and then proceeding to the next."
Whether Rohin Venkatesan is going to collaborate with Ajith based on Jai's statements remains to be seen considering there has been no word about the Tamil superstar's next after his upcoming film, VidaaMuyarchi. An official statement regarding the Tamil superstar's next film is still awaited and can be expected up ahead when he begins filming his VidaaMuyarchi under Magizh Thirumeni's direction being produced by Lyca Productions.
