Jaggesh vents his anger
The audio launch function ofYeddelu Manjunatha became a venue for actor-politician Jaggesh to express his anger and frustration towards some sections of the film fraternity. It is not clear what caused the actor to lash out at the stars of Sandalwood, but the press who attended the function, for a moment, forgot that this was a simple music release function.
Jaggesh, referring to himself as the son of Goddess Saraswati, said that he does not want any more awards. The love and affection he has from the people of Turuvekere is the real award. He narrated a story of how he approached a super star to make a film. The star asked himone crore as remuneration and to arrange another 3 crores to complete the film. He was disappointedthat day...
Jaggesh also rememberedhis time of struggle and the people who helped him. It was K.C.N. Kumar who helped him when he expressed a wish to buy a second-hand car. He also recalled that to own a second-hand Luna he had to borrow from 22 friends.
The audience calmly listened to this eloquent speech from Jaggesh and when he stopped, the faces of the people showed that they completely understood his angst.
