National Award-winning actor Dhanush has gone on to prove his mettle as a multi-talented artiste on numerous occasions.
Be it as an actor, director, producer, singer as well as a songwriter, Dhanush has left a big impression among audiences and critics with his talents.
Likewise, legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja, who was recently conferred with the Padma Vibhushan Award by the Government of India is at present scoring music for an upcoming Marathi film.
It has now been confirmed that 'Isaignani' Ilaiyaraaja had called on Dhanush to come sing the song he had composed for the Marathi film, which the actor instantly agreed to without any second thoughts.
Fans will know the 'Maestro' had not long back done something similar for Dhanush when he had sung a song composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja for Maari 2.
So happy to announce that the maestro isaignani ilayaraja sir sang a song today for #maari2. What a delightful divine experience. We feel so blessed and super thrilled. @thisisysr @directormbalaji pic.twitter.com/6pNRj09aZ7

It must be noted Ilaiyaraaja has scored music for Dhanush in films namely Balu Mahendra’s Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam and R. Balki’s Shamitabh.
Whether Ilaiyaraaja will once again score music again for a Dhanush film remains to be seen.
