Though he made his feature film debut in Rettaisuzhi (2010) produced by director Shankar, actor Aari had a breakthrough as Murugan in Nedunchaalai which earned him excellent reviews.
The actor now seems busy as his schedules are tightly packed with four upcoming projects including a horror thriller, comedy thriller and a romance film, and Dharani by a debut director Guhan which has been in the making for quite some time now.
This movie will feature Aari in dual roles as both hero and anti-hero. The film uses mostly real locations over sets, including a quarry. According to Aari, the movie was a real learning experience for him as the roles he played in the movie challenged him a lot.
The other movies in line for the actor are Maane Thaene Paeye, Night Show which has Nayanthara in the lead and Kadai Enn 6 by Sasidharan, the co-writer of Chennai 600028.
