Director CS Amudhan and production house behind Tamizh Padam 2.0 has confirmed that their upcoming movie is not a political spoof.

They released a first look poster of Mirchi Siva meditating just like O Paneerselvam which led to the assumption that it may mock politics in Tamil Nadu. The direction team confirmed that it’s caption which says police athyayam denotes it will mock the series of clichés found in Kollywood with regards to police movies.

Scary Movie series in English often mocks horror flicks but at times picks on specific genres which is what Tamizh Padam 2.0 aims to achieve.
