Holi bonanza for Bhojpuri
Holi is not just a festival of colours, it is also one of song, dance, fun and films. Yes, Holi is a time wherein we see the release of many new films. The Bhojpuri community is overjoyed this Holi as it sees the release of much-awaited flicks of Bhojpuri's top stars. If everything goes by schedule, this Holi will witness the release of the films of Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwari and Dineshlal Yadav Nirahua. Manoj-starrer Ham Hayee Khalnayak, Ravi Kishan-starrer Bihari Mafia and Nirahua-starrer Ho Gaini Deewana Tohra Pyar Me are the films thatare scheduled tohit the screens this Holi.
Manoj Tiwari's Ham Hayee Khalnayak is special as it is Jackie Shroff's first Bhojpuri movie. The cast includes Manoj Tiwari, Monalisa, Swati Verma and Prakash Jais among others. Directed by K.D., Manoj is said to be essaying a negative role in the movie.
Ravi Kishan's Bihari Mafia has Namrata Thapa, Awadhesh Mishra in prominent roles. Directed by Babloo Soni, the film tells the tale of a youngster who revolts against corruption in the society. It can be remembered that Soni's earlier film, Banke Bihari MLA was a huge success.
Nirahua's Ho Gaini Deewana Tohra Pyar Me, a remake of Ajay Devgan's Hindi film Jaan, is another strong contender in the Holi race. Produced by Alok Kumar, the lead roles in the flick are played by Monalisa, Awadhesh Mishra and Brajesh Singh. However, this film is in trouble as the judicial court of Bhojpur has issued stay order on the release of the movie due to some issues between distributors and the production house. Hope the stay is lifted and the film releases soon.
With all these films, the Bhojpuria community will have a filmy blast this Holi.
Relish in the fun offered by the celluloid world this festive season. Happy Holi!
