Hip Hop Tamizha is one of the trend-setting musicians turned actor in the Tamil film Industry. He began his career as an independent artist and became famous for the hit number Club le Mabbu le. He then began to compose music for films and gave some hit albums like Ambala, Indru Netru Naalai, Thani Oruvan, Aranmanai 2, Kathakali, Kavan and so on. He did his debut as an actor with the coming-of-age drama based on his life Meesaya Murukku. Hip Hop Tamizha Adhi then continued to pursue his acting talents and played lead in multiple films that focused on social issues. His recent was Anbarivu which was a direct OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar.
The actor has now shared a 13-minute-long video on social media today from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Coimbatore. The video shows the actor Adhi being escorted outside the university amidst a huge crowd of students. He was rushed out of the university by police officials. The talented artist captioned the post “I really wanted to click a picture with all of you. But since the shoot was getting interrupted the team wanted me out. Sorry to disappoint you all. I’ll be back on a different occasion. Always grateful for your love. I love you all”. We can also hear a song composed Hip Hop Tamizha in the background. The video has been going viral on social media.
Hip Hop Tamizha has two upcoming projects in the works Veeran and PT Sir. Veeran looks like a dual-role film and it's speculated that the film surrounds the plot of a superhero directed by Maragatha Naanayam fame ARK Saravanan. The first look of his other film PT sir was announced during Pongal. It is directed by Karthik Venugopal who takes up the role of a school Physical Education trainer. The shooting could have been from any of the two films. He also has a line of films as music director, including two Telugu films Agent and Buddy.
