Launched on the streamer on March 8 with four episodes every Friday, the story of Heart Beat revolves around Reena, who joins a new job at a hospital under a medical practitioner named Rathi, and the problems she encounters and the experiences she faces there in her life.

The series has been produced by A Tele Factory and is directed by Deepak Sundarrajan, who previously made Annabelle Sethupathi (2021) with Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu, while also serving as a writer on the Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar-starrer Oh Manapenne! (2021), while Regimel Surya Thomas has handled the cinematography.
