'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo is progressing at a steady pace in Chennai and all sights are now set on new treats and updates from the film on the superstar's birthday on June 22. Being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, there has been considerable debate as to whether the upcoming biggie will be set in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), which was first established in the 2022 blockbuster, Vikram, starring 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan, 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil, with Suriya also appearing in a powerful cameo. Towards the end of Vikram, Tamil cinema fans were in for a massive surprise showing the events of the film being linked with Lokesh Kanagaraj's second directorial, the smash hit 2019 film, Kaithi, which saw Karthi deliver a thumping performance.

As there is already a lot of chatter on social media about whether Vijay's Leo is a part of the LCU or not, actor Harish Uthaman, who played one of the antagonists in Kaithi, took to his Instagram Story on Wednesday and shared a fan-made picture that is creating a lot of buzz. Harish has posted a fan-made collage that shows his character in conversation over the phone from the Vikram climax, with Vijay from Beast instead being featured on the other end. Sharing the picture, Harish wrote, "Wouldn't it be nice", while adding a grinning face and smiling face with heart-eyes emojis, with their fan-fiction conversation leaving fans thrilled. In the picture, we see Harish Uthaman's character telling Vijay that he is in danger, who then as Leo responds stating that he is the danger along the lines of Walter White aka. Heisenberg in Breaking Bad

With the wait still on to know whether Leo is also a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, fans on social media are hoping that doubt will be cleared on 'Thalapathy' Vijay's birthday. Harish Uthaman, who was established as the mastermind behind the events in Kaithi, is expected to return to the role once again in Kaithi 2, and it now remains to be seen whether he too will be featuring in Leo if the Vijay-starrer is set in the LCU. Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo will see Vijay sharing screen space with an ensemble cast starting with Trisha, who is playing the female lead, followed by Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Arjun, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas, dance master Sandy among others appearing in key roles, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
