Happy birthday Himesh Reshammiya!
Himesh Reshammiya celebrates his 36th birthday today. Son of Gujarati music director Vipin Reshammiya, Himesh has given a record of 28 hits in 6 months!
Himesh, a multi talented person started his career as a music director at 16 for a TV serial. Later he was introduced to films through the movie Bandhan. He found unprecedented success with the release of Aap Kaa Surroor, the album which was later made into a film, in which he debuted as hero. Himesh's unique voice and songs made him one of the biggest success stories in Indian film music.
Some of his biggest hits include Hello Brother, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, Humraaz, Tere Naam, Run, Aitraaz, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye, 36 China Town, Namastey London, Apne, Aap Kaa Surroor and Welcome. He also composed music for two Tamil films Bommalaatam and the Kamal Haasan - Asin starrer Dasavatharam, which was a super hit.
Himesh works for nearly 18 hours a day. He composes 4-5 songs per day. He is very keen about his forthcoming film Radio in which he plays a radio Jockey. He is also scripting his next film Ishq Unplugged.
