Kamal Haasan's next big film, the tentatively titled KH 233 / RKFI 52, announced on Tuesday, July 4, has created a huge buzz among Tamil cinema fans and marks the first-time collaboration for the iconic actor with filmmaker H. Vinoth. Being produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) banner and R. Mahendran, the upcoming project's announcement came along with a powerful video carrying the tagline 'Rise to Rule' showing Kamal Haasan leading the way among several people while hinting that the film will have a political backdrop. With the news of KH 233 taking social media by storm, an official press note has also been released carrying director H. Vinoth's thoughts about boarding the illustrious venture and also joining hands with Kamal Haasan for the first time.
Speaking about coming on board KH 233, H. Vinoth said, "This is a special project for me, and I am thrilled to work with Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan and colloborating on a story written by him for KH 233 (RKFI 52). His films have been an institution by itself from which we have gained a deep understanding of the art of filmmaking. KH 233 is H. Vinoth's next big project after he delivered three back-to-back box office blockbusters with Ajith Kumar starting with Nerkonda Paarvai (2019), Valimai (2022), and Thunivu (2023), and the hit filmmaker will now be raring to go at full throttle for his film with Kamal Haasan. The film is also Kamal Haasan's next grand venture to be produced under his Raaj Kamal Films International banner after recently announcing SK 21 with Sivakarthikeyan and STR 48 starring Silambarasan TR. Kamal Haasan himself will be looking to come out all guns blazing for KH 233 which is one of the big projects in his film lineup that includes Indian 2 with director Shankar, his reunion with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam after 35 years for the tentatively titled KH 234, and the highly-anticipated pan-Indian sci-fi venture Project K starring Prabhas.
