One of the busiest stars in Tamil cinema, composer turned actor G. V. Prakash Kumar is at present attached to as many as eight films with one of them being under acclaimed filmmaker Vasanthabalan’s direction.

Filming on this Vasanthabalan directorial kicked off a few months back and the title for this venture has now been announced as Jail with GV Prakash playing a character named Karuna.

Enga Veetu Maapilai fame Abarnathi had been roped in as the female lead for Jail being produced under the Krikes Cine Creations banner, which is at present in its final stages of shooting.
At the rate of speed the Jail team is progressing, we can expect the film to come out sometime this year.
