GV Prakash is a busy actor who has various exciting projects in his line up. Last seen in the romantic drama 100% Kaadhal, GV Prakash's upcoming line up of films include Ayngaran, Aayiram Jenmangal, Adangathey, Vasanta Balan's Jail, 4G, Kadhalai Thedi Nithyanandha, Kadhalikka Yarumillai, Trap City (International debut), Selfie and more. Very recently, the young actor had completed shooting for his film, Bachelor, produced by Dilli Babu's Axess Film Factory. Directed by Sathish Selvakumar, this youthful romantic entertainer features Divya Bharathi as the female lead. The film's shooting was wrapped up amidst the pandemic and we saw pictures from the shooting spot doing rounds on social media.

Following that, GV Prakash has now signed a new Tamil film and the project has been officially launched. Yes! GV Prakash will be acting in an untitled romantic thriller that is directed by debutant DV Akilan. Apart from acting, GV will also be scoring music for this film. Ishani Sajmi Saleem will produce this film under the banner of Navira Cinemas and this is the company's first production in Tamil cinema. This new film will have cinematography by MA Rajadurai and editing by T Shivanandeeswaran.

Marking the film's launch, the makers unveiled the pre look poster which looks quite promising. From the poster, it looks like this film will be a strong content driven thriller. GV Prakash has been exploring new subjects through each of his films and we hope this film is also one such attempt. Details regarding the rest of the cast and commencement of shoot is yet to be known and it is expected to be announced very soon. This untitled project was officially launched this morning in Chennai with a special pooja.

Apart from acting, GV Prakash also has plenty of exciting projects as a music director. He is currently awaiting the release of Soorarai Pottru which is scheduled to be out on October 30. The first four songs have turned out to be chartbusters and the composer will be looking forward to continuing the success ratio with the rest of the album as well. GV Prakash will be composing music for Suriya’s Vaadivaasal, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vetri Maaran and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. The Madharasapattinam composer also has Dhanush’s D43, directed by Karthick Naren and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. There is also Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi, which is the biopic of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J Jayalalitha. GV Prakash has a good rapport with director Vijay and we can expect the duo to create some beautiful music for Thalaivi.
