As soon as the year 1947 is mentioned, Indians could thinking nothing more than the Independence Day on 15th August. Director Kalyaan who’s making the film revealed a couple of interesting including the fact that Prabhu Deva will be featured in two different timelines, one in 1947 and another in 2017.

“If you assume if this is a film on father, son or more like a reincarnation script, Gulebagavali will surprise you. The movie’s based on a lot of surprises and Prabhu Deva will pair with Hansika in the present while he has a different heroine in the past. It does sync with freedom struggle but is not a patriotic film. Rather black comedy with a bit of message is what we aim at,” said director Kalyaan.
