Actress Jenna Ushkowitz, who is best known for playing the role of Tina Cohen-Chang in the comedy-drama series Glee, has announced her pregnancy with husband David Stanley. Revealing that they are expecting a daughter, the 35-year-old shared a black-and-white photo on Instagram and wrote, "Baby Girl Stanley coming in June," with Stanley seen resting his hand over hers, which she has placed on her baby bump. The couple got engaged in 2020 and tied the knot in a close-knit outdoor ceremony last year. Speaking about the wedding to Brides magazine, Ushkowitz said, "We always dreamed of a wedding on the smaller side, but with COVID, we definitely had to scale back more than we anticipated," while adding that the safety of the guests "was a priority."
Ushkowitz and Stanley got acquainted via the dating app Hinge and celebrated three years of being together last June. Taking to social media, the actress posted a picture of them both cuddling their dog Bear, while commemorating the landmark and wrote, "D$ thank you for choosing me." She added, "I look forward to a lifetime of your cheesy puns, competitive game nights, lazy morning Harry Potter marathons, wine tastings, new restaurant discoveries, walks with Bear and seeing the world with you. Much more to come I love you so much."
A Korean-born American, Jenna Ushkowitz, has also made a name for herself as a singer, producer and podcast host, outside of her role as an actress. She garnered appreciation for her performances in Broadway musicals such as The King and I and Waitress and won the Tony Award twice for her work as a producer on the Broadway musical, Once on This Island, including the Broadway play, The Inheritance. Her stepping stone to success was her appearances on Glee in which she appeared in the main role in 106 episodes.
