Congratulations are in order for popular Hindi television actors Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy, who announced the news of the birth of their twins, a baby girl and a baby boy, on Wednesday, July 25. The couple shared a cute poster on their Instagram handles, which had a theme with blue and pink colors along with the arrival date of their twin babies 'July 25th 2023' and two teddy bears. The text on the poster read, "Twice Blessed. Hearts brimming with joy and gratitude. We joyously announce the start of our journey as a family of four. Thankful for all the love and blessings. Gautam & Pankhuri." The happy couple also wrote in the caption: "As we embrace this new chapter as a family of four, we are filled with heartfelt gratitude for the love and blessings showered upon us. (sic)"
Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy's latest announcement of the birth of the twins has been receiving lots of love on social media as well-wishers from the entertainment industry and fans have been sending in their congratulatory messages to the joyous couple. Actress Divyanka Tripathi commented, "Congratulations to you both! (smiley face and three heart emojis)", while comedian Bharti Singh wrote, "Congratulations (hugs emojis, heart emojis and evil eye emojis)". Among the other names to extend their wishes were Neena Gupta, Vivek Dahiya, Meera Deosthale, Sheena Bajaj, Mohsin Khan, and Hiba Nawab, to name a notable few.
Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy announced the news of their pregnancy earlier this year in April. Best known for her portrayal of Razia Sultan in Razia Sultan, Pankhuri posted an animated video and used the titles of three Bollywood films - Jab We Met (when they first met), Band Baaja Baaraat (when they got married) and now, Good Newwz (pregnancy announcement) - as references to describe the journey of her relationship with Gautam. The couple reportedly met on the sets of Razia Sultan but fell in love during filming for the show Suryaputra Karn, which featured Gautam as Karn, while Pankhuri played Draupadi. Both stars maintained privacy around their relationship until 2017 when they announced their engagement after which the two lovers got married in Alwar, Rajasthan, in 2018.
