National Award-winning Tamil composer G. V. Prakash Kumar will be seen next on the big screen in Adiyae releasing in theatres on August 25 and promotions are underway for the film, which also has 96 star Gouri Kishan as the female lead, Venkat Prabhu and Mirchi Vijay in key roles under Thittam Irandu fame Vignesh Karthick's direction. With a lot of buzz surrounding the upcoming romantic comedy science-fiction venture, G. V. Prakash sat down with Galatta for an exclusive interview to talk about the film, while also speaking about a hypothetical scenario about his experience of working in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo.

Considering Adiyae hints at the idea of an alternate reality and the multiverse, G. V. Prakash in his fun-filled reply explained his experience shooting as the lead star in Leo. He goes on to explain how he fought the wolves in Kashmir referring to the Vijay-starrer's first look released on the Tamil superstar's birthday in June. He also states that he's a heroic villain upon being asked whether he's a hero or villain in his version of Leo. When suggested that he's paired with Trisha after many years, G. V. Prakash said that it was a nostalgic reunion for them while adding that Lokesh Kanagaraj is a sweet person and that he wouldn't mind if he made fun of him.
Adiyae is coming out amidst a lot of expectations after the film's teaser and trailer received largely positive feedback from fans. The visuals showed a multiverse where 'Captain' Vijayakanth is the Prime Minister of India, who is attending the 150th-day celebration event of Vijay's Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru, followed by Venkat Prabhu playing industry peer Gautham Menon and actor-reviewer Bayilvan Ranganathan appearing in the role of an Oscar Award-winning music director hinting at A. R. Rahman in an alternate reality.
